Attorney Harding’s practice focuses on the defense of insurance companies, their insureds and self-insurers in all State and Federal Courts of the Commonwealth. In addition, Attorney Harding advises and represents insurers in matters involving bad faith and coverage.

Over the course of his career, Attorney Harding has tried over 300 cases in all Courts of the Commonwealth, the United States District Court and forums outside of Massachusetts. Attorney Harding’s trial experience has included bad faith, complex aviation disasters, product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle torts, environmental disasters and insurance coverage disputes. In addition, Attorney Harding has made numerous appearances before appellate courts in Massachusetts including the First Circuit.

Attorney Harding has been rated AV-Preeminent, the highest possible peer rating for legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale Hubbell for over two decades. He has been listed in Who’s Who of American Lawyers and has been named as one of Boston’s highest rated lawyers in the field of insurance law in such publications as the National Law Journal, the American Lawyer and The Boston Globe.

Professional History

Before forming Harding Gurley, LLP, Attorney Harding was a Member of Weston Patrick, P.A. where he managed the insurance defense group of the firm. Prior to joining Weston Patrick, P.A., Attorney Harding served as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
