Attorney Gurley’s practice primarily involves working with insurance companies in the defense of civil litigation brought against individuals and organizations in all State and Federal Courts of the Commonwealth. Attorney Gurley has considerable trial experience in the Federal, Superior and District Courts throughout Massachusetts and has successfully argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

Attorney Gurley regularly represents and advises insurers in bad faith and coverage matters. Attorney Gurley has a state-wide reputation for success at trial. She has prevailed in matters ranging from motor vehicle torts, construction accidents and general liability to slip and fall accidents and property disputes.

Attorney Gurley chairs the annual Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Seminar ‘Handling Motor Vehicle Accident Cases” for attorneys and insurance professionals. In addition, She regularly educates insurance professionals on developments in Massachusetts law critical to the insurance industry.

Professional History

Prior to forming Harding Gurley LLP, Allison Gurley was a partner in the insurance defense practice at Weston Patrick, P.A. Before joining Weston Patrick, P.A., Attorney Gurley defended medical providers in medical malpractice litigation and practiced health care law before regulatory boards, agencies and committees.

Attorney Gurley began her career as a litigator at a small general practice law firm in Boston, Massachusetts where she handled a diverse caseload of civil litigation.
